(Pure Flix) Each of us likely has a special collection of what may be defined as “Life’s Defining Moments”. You know, those rare experiences that are so impressionable they leave a life-long memory, or impact us so greatly that it inspires us to see life through a new or different lens. Experiences that encourage us to make positive changes, or perhaps challenge us to embark on a whole new path of adventure.
One recent example has been witnessing Russell Wolfe, founder of Pure Flix Entertainment, navigate this challenging season with courage, determination and his unwavering faith. Russell’s heart, mind, soul and character have recorded many “Defining Moments” for all of us at Pure Flix, and so many others who’s lives have been impacted by Russell Wolfe.
Most recently, the local “Walk With Russell” event which many of Russell’s family, friends, employees and business colleagues came out to support. We were joined by thousands of others battling ALS, in the Walk to Defeat ALS, the ALS Association Arizona Chapter’s signature event of the year, at Scottsdale Stadium.
Local news Channel 12 and The Arizona Republic were so inspired by Russell’s story they produced a special report that includes some footage from this incredible event.
“I’m just giving it my all and fighting through physical therapy, doing what I know I need to do, within my own power, to get better,” he said. “But praying that it’s all up to God, because it is…” - Russell Wolfe.
Watch this inspiring interview and share it with others who may need to be encouraged today.
As reported in this special segment by Channel 12/The Arizona Republic: “Russell Wolfe, of Scottsdale is using his personal battle to inspire others. This past weekend, dozens of friends and family showed their support for Russell’s family and others battling ALS…they showed up for a man demonstrating incredible strength of character and spirit…Russell knows what he is up against. His positivity, he says, comes from faith.”
“..I mean, you can choose to focus on the negative. What good does that do?” he said. “I think if people could focus on the blessings you still have or the blessing of what you’re still able to do, and not focus on what you can’t do, you’re in a much better place….” He also thinks there’s a reason we go through what we go through. “So if you look at that in a positive light, take your eyes off yourself and look at the big picture, and you can be a blessing to others,” Read The Full Story Here.
